We are in the final three weeks of school and we have many activities planned for our classroom.  I am positive that all of you are in shock on how fast the school year flew by.  We teachers are, that's for sure.   We want to thank you all for allowing us to get to know, create bonds, and teach your children.  Memories have been engraved in our hearts forever. 

"Smiles Far and Wide," is our theme in our final month of the school year.  We will be talking about travel, ways to travel, and places we travel to.  So, as part of the theme we will be taking the class to Itasca State Park on Wednesday, May 9 and talk about our surroundings. 

This is also the time we will be taking the graduates to visit Lincoln Elementary (May 1) and Bug-0-Nay-Ge-Shig School (May 2) kindergarten classes.  If you are wanting to come with your child on these visits, please let us know.  444-8480. 

May 18 (Friday) at the Cass Lake Head Start will be graduation.  It will start at 11:00 a.m. with a potluck afterwards.  So be sure to bring a good size dish to share.  Graduates should arrive about 10:45 a.m. so they can get into their caps and gowns.  Parents if you could show earlier to help in decorating and stay for the clean up that would be great!
